It’s starting to feel more characteristic of winter. Yesterday was a cold, grey, raw day with steady sleet and the occasional wind gust that takes your breath away. Baked Apple Chips
We're going on our third day hunkered down inside our apartment due to the wrath of Hurricane Sandy. Luckily we're now on the other side of the storm, unscathed. Schools are closed again tomorrow. With all of this unexpected togetherness, besides getting on esch others' nerves and watchin the round the clock storm coverage on the news, we've been baking and eating up our own storm. Need an activity for a rainy fall weekend with the kids? Make Pumpkin Brownies. It’s that simple. You probably have all of the ingredients in your pantry and fridge, except for some canned pumpkin. I happened to have an extra can of pumpkin from my Pumpkin Cappuccino Chip Muffin assignment a few weeks ago. In fact, it’s so easy, my kids could’ve assembled the batter themselves.
