On a trip last year to Paris, lucky for me, our hotel was located right around the block from Ladurée, perhaps the most famous Paris pastry shop and the birthplace of macarons. Homemade Candy Sushi
My daughter will not go to certain food stores solely based on smell. She refuses to walk into the celebrated market Zabar’s—a must-see stop for many NYC tourist buses---due to the overwhelming “stench” from the myriad olives lining the entry way. If olives rub her the wrong way, you can just imagine sushi’s negative impact. Ahem. Take one look at these brownies and you tell me....do they look kosher for Passover to you? How can you tell they don't contain any flour or baking powder? Well, you can't tell... Passover: Chocolate Chip Mandel Bread
Most desserts that are kosher for Passover don't seem that appealing. How good could they be without flour and baking soda and baking powder? To me, it's the same as eating a pizza without the tomato sauce--- you're more aware of what's missing than what you have.
