I bet we can’t find a grandma today who doesn’t own a vintage recipe box with her old recipes cards from the 1950’s and onwards. Unfortunately, they’re a dying breed. Mother’s Day will never be the same for me after having lost my own mother. Now that I’m raising two kids there are so many days I feel rudderless, wishing that I could just pick up the phone to talk to Mom. Quinoa and Chia Salad
I’m continuing on my crusade to get everyone to incorporate Chia Seeds into their diets. I’m not pretending to be a nutritionist nor am I a dietician but, when I do stumble upon something that totally enhances the nutritional component of a dish without detracting from its flavor, I love sharing it.
