my version pre-bake
We’ve all gone through cooking ruts. Some probably last longer than others but, they still suck the life out of you.
Wracking your brain trying to figure out what to make for your family can become quite stressful. Sometimes, all you need is that one dish that wows, versus generating an entire 3-course meal.
I was having a stressful moment the other day in the kitchen but, I nipped it in the bud…
I had seen an amazing video on how to make Bloomin’ Onion Bread (not to be confused with Outback Steakhouses’ Bloomin Onion which is basically an onion that’s been deep fried).
I soon realized I had all the ingredients to replicate my own Bloomin’ Onion Bread. Don’t fret, you don’t have to actually make the bread and wait for it to rise. You just need some sort of boule (I used sourdough), cheese, butter and green onions— that’s all.
With these simple ingredients, you can create a Bloomin’ Onion Bread masterpiece that smells spectacular and looks like work of art. Who doesn’t salivate at the marriage of bread, melted butter and cheese?
And, the finished product? It looks as if it took hours to assemble when, in reality, it only takes a few minutes to make and bake!
This is a definite crowd-pleaser! You must try (again and again and again).
